The Yagan or Yámana people of Tierra del Fuego. Usually reduced to the image we get when looking at the historical photographies, an image of their form of live by times when the europeans arrived.
Over decades again and again there were reports about „the last yagan“. Several have been named „the last one“. It was created the idea of an extinguished culture.
This series is a look at the faces and into the world of a small but living people at the end of the world. People on their way back to cultural identity.
